OR-FAB tire carrier question
I want to get 35's for my jeep and I have heard stories of people bending their tailgates with the stock carrier. I have been looking for a cheap solution that will work well. I like the or fab since I can keep the stock bumper for now, but I want to make sure that it won't cause problem with the tailgate. Has anyone had problem with this style of tire carrier? Thanks

I'm also considering the ORFab. I'm wondering how this works in the rocks due to the fact that the tire hangs further out from the body (shifting the center of gravity back). Anyone had any problems with approach angle or the wieght causing the Jeep to be a bit "flighty" when going up a hill?

Here is my OR Fab tire carrier with a 40" MTR/K hanging on it. Also, I run two 5 gal. fuel cans and hi-lift on it. My only complaint is the departure angle suffers a bit since the set up sits so far off the rear of the JK, having a fairly tall rig like mine does help out though. So far not one issue of reliability or strength, no squeaks, no rattles, it was a great purchase.
