37" tires...rotopax cans filled. It wouldn't have been a problem I don't think if we had a bumper. Running no bumper at all, climbing a steep rock on the Rubicon. There had actually been sort of a pit dug at the base of the rock from the Jeeps in front --- so a perfect storm really. It's a good carrier, just would recommend if running without a bumper, you be very mindful of this on steep inclines.

Thanks for the info. I will have a bumper, also most of my off-road driving is in the desert. Very little rock crawling and encounters with inclines/declines.
