I just just ordered an OR-FAB rear bumper with LED lights. Now I'm on the market for a tire carrier.
Any one has experience with the OR-Fab Swing-A-Way Tire Carrier. It mounts to the body; does it add stress to the body? do OR-FAB makes a bumper mount tire carrier?
Can any other tire carrier work with this bumper?

Doesn't stress the body at all. Mine has been on for 2 years with only some surface rust over the moving parts.
They don't make a bumper mounted tire carrier that I'm aware of.

There have been a TON of threads recently on this, a search will get you a long way. It puts ZERO stress on the body because of the brackets involved. It's extremely solid. Will hold over 200lbs easily.

It works great and looks great, but please know it's a PITA to put on. Took me over 6 hours with a friend. You have to have a right angle drill and the additional brackets are difficult to get installed AND you have to drill at least 3 small holes and 1 large whole in the body. Not for the weak of heart. Here are some photos of the non Jerry can carrier.

The OrFab tire carrier is an excellent piece of equipment. It looks great, fits perfect and functions flawlessly. The installation is a time consuming venture, there are many posts and threads on this, but well worth it.
The unit is rated for up to a 37"tire or 200lbs. But there are people who have run up to 40" tires on it. The rep I spoke said they are considering upping the rating of the carrier as it is proving itself to be able to handle more than they rated it for.
Here are some pics of mine

I like mine. I never plan to carry cans, I just happened to get a good deal on this version. I want a storage container for the can area. I've seen the rampage can, but it doesn't really serve the purpose I'm looking for.
