For all of you who posted and/or run across this... Here are some pics of how I remedied my security issue and gave myself some piece of mind.

Looks good! Definitely needs some kind of spacer. I cut mine from the day star bump stops I had left over then used eye bolts instead of bolts to make it easier to get on and off. I like the bar for the padlock thou.

Thanks, I had some other ideas with brackets and what not but decided this was much easier. A little more involved with fab'n it up as I drilled into the tire carrier, slid the 1/2" round bar in and welded it up and drilled the round bar for the pad lock (using a drill press) but other than that it was very simple to do. And yeah the spacer helps it from rubbin on the carrier, keeps it from rattling, and secures it on the mount a little better.

Anybody have a pic of the CB antenna mount that is supposed to be part of this carrier?

Curious about this as well... Currently mounted on LP housing, but looking to delete that one of these days.

The cb "mount" I'm pretty sure is just a precut hole near the carrier latch that you would secure a normal CB stud mount through. At least that's what I figured the hole was for....

Makes sense... Makes for a long run for fishing the coax through but easy access to cb connector.

Must be different on the jerry-can version..I have the no-can version and the mounting hole is on the other side, on the flat plate by the latch. Interesting!

I have the jerry-can version and mine has the mounts on both sides.

However, I noticed in some older photos that the mount on the right (in the photo posted above) was not present. So, could be a recent addition.
