I just installed mine a couple of weeks ago. I enjoyed the project ! It had a few difficulties, but man I really love having this on my Jeep!

I love this carrier. It will take some time to put it on, so take your time, its worth it! I never would have used gerry cans, so it gave a clean, close to the back look.

Agreed. The only thing I don't like about the gas can version is how far the spare tire hangs out the back. For one, it's already a tight fit to cram my Unlimited into my garage without adding another foot to its overall length. Secondly, clearance is sacrificed when you're playing in big rocks or maneuvering through tight trees.
