I would have gone Or-FAB, I have ready nothing but good things about them and their products while I have heard 50/50 on the smittybilt bumpers.

I like the look of the smittybuilt better, but OR-Fab would probably win with me.

I've run the OR-Fab for a couple of years now and love it...both ORF and SB have great customer service but ORF is built here by some of your neighbors so for me it's ORF. Nothing against SB as I have some of their stuff on my jeep but I'm seeing more and more that buying American has a ripple effect and so as things need replacing/upgrading I'm looking to US Built first when at all possible.

Sometime ago they moved MFG overseas and that was some of the cause for the rear bumper problems with the carriers...we know first hand...but like I said their customer service is incredible and they took care of the problems.

I have been looking at both of these stingers too. I dont like the top part of the Smitty with the 3 holes but I like the bottom. One thing that seems unsafe to me is that the Smitty doesnt have gussets on the back of the bar. Which makes the stinger a mute point if you ever need to really use it..At this point Im leaning towards EVo, OR-Fab or LOD..

Smittybilt does have EXCELLENT customer service.

That being said I chose the Rugged Ridge with stinger for 3 reasons:

1. I want the winch to sit down between the frame rails to allow more air into the radiator
2. I wanted to retain the factory fog lights since I already have the lights, wiring and the switch is integrated into my headlight switch.
3. You can change it up by adding ends, removing the stinger for a clean look or adding a winch hoop etc.

If you need an OR Fab product quickly, they are usually in stock with one of the big warehouse distrubutors.
