And yes its the newbie in you, as I used to feel the same way, but after you do it a bunch of times, you find time does matter and accuracy also matters.

I'm not a fan of the automatic tire deflators... its too complicated for a task that is too simple. I would suggest the simple tire deflators like teraflex offers. Just go around the jeep putting them on the valve stems, then go to the first one w/ a pressure gauge and when its where you want it (the pressure gauge fits over the end of the deflator so you don't need to take it off), just go around the jeep taking them off in the same order you put them on.
Then again I'm a KISS kind of guy. If you're going to get something that's over engineered for the task at hand, get the most expensive ones you can find... and if they're made in China, practice wheeling w/ fully inflated tires.

I have observed buddies with staun's and buddies with currie ez, so when I spent my money it was on the currie.
Depending on what you are wheeling in you will learn that you might want different pressures. Thus the currie was my choice as you have a guage and can decide on the spot what you want to do. Plus they are super fast.
In the end everyone will recommend what they have as the best, cause they bought because thats what they want to use.
