Extreme Vehicle Builders - Danbury CT .......... Thoughts?
Hi All,
I am planning on taking my new 2014 2 door to EVB for a 2in lift and Very large wheels/tires. Does this place have a good reputation, is the work quality? Any thoughts would be great. The estimate is 5k so I really have to be sure........
Thanks all.

What are "very large wheels and tires"? $5k for only a lift and new rubber seems quite steep. You can install a lift at home with only basic hand tools, it's very easy and will save you a ton of cash.

You two are failing to factor in the cost of labor.
But, I agree- shop around more. You'll find that you can do the work or at least find another shop who can be a bit more competitive on the price. Find a local jeep club and see what they recommend. I would even consider going to a rice shop -suspension is suspension and tire/ wheel combo's are easy to put together.

Depending on what tires and wheels they are they could easily go $3000-$4000. You can't say the quote is that far off without knowing exactly what he's getting.
