Default Expedition one or LOD rear tire carrier. ?

I'm looking for a tire carrier that incorporates the swing away to the rear door of the jeep but still has it connected to the bumper to take away stress from the door hinges. I know these Two companies have one. Anyone running one and how do you like it ?

I just put the expedition one bumper and tire carrier on my jeep and am really happy with it. It looks great and the quality/fitment is spot on. After some minor adjustments with the coupler, there are zero rattles.

AEV also makes one. I've been running the AEV rear for almost two years now and love it!

My LoD bumper/carrier is in the garage at home just waiting for me to install it. All of the positive reviews I have read about it convinced me, and not to mention it looks absolutley badass!

LOD hands down. Know several guys running them and it is absolutely one of the nicest pieces I've seen in person. Pictures don't do them justice. Right now it's taking several weeks to get built and shipped out once ordered, but it's well worth the wait.

Expedition One hands down LOL. I had one on my first JK and it was great. I went cheap on this JK, got a Rugged Ridge, and have regretted not getting another Expedition One ever since. Back when I bought my Expedition One(in 2008) they were one of the very few (if not the only ones) that offered the swing away with the tailgate. I think LOD and the others caught up later but not sure. Lod is a nice product too

With the LoD version that is linked to the door you can only mount one Jerry can. That is why I just installed the non-linked version which I love. It is a very nicely built bumper and fit very well on the Jeep. Got the Rotopax cans and trail rack also.

Sounds like you will be happy with all the choices mentioned.

I chose and installed the Expediation One rear carrier a few weeks ago, the install was simple, and impressed at their quality, no rattles, fit etc.

Reason why I chose the Ex One is it offers more rear protection, being slightly wider than the other choices.
