Default Expedition One Bumper (DX Basic with wings)

Purchasing one of these with Santa money. Lightweight yet versatile. Did my research but anybody have thoughts on this?

Bump! Also looking at this bumper. Love the light weight, only 24 lbs.

I have it and I love it. It is very light weight and looks great with a winch. I also added a MBRP bull bar to it to attach a couple aux lights.

Found an old picture without the bull bar

You won't be disappointed. It's close in weight to the stock front bumper actually. And the fit&finish is very nice. I'm really curious to see their other products in person.

I've got a friend with one and I honestly wasn't impressed with it for *my* needs. If you just want a lightweight 'bumper' to hold a winch and fog lights then it's for you. I wouldn't expect it to take a hit off road or in traffic. My needs called for something that could take a hit and drive away as well as plow deer and prius' down on the roads.

Also a good point. I like the lightweight aspect of it though.

Well yes, the lightweight factor is tough to contend with unless you go with an aluminum bumper, GenRight makes one but it's a couple $$ and still has a steel winch tray to ensure you never get left behind.

Is the 24lbs with our without the wings? I went with a rough country winch plate and Engo winch on the stock bumper to save weight. If it is close, I might reconsider and go with one of these. I'm fairly happy with the set up I've got, but that bumper really looks good, and I like having the winch more concealed, although it works just fine in front of the grill.

The wings hardly weigh much at all, they're more of fog light holders than anything.
