Default Exhaust spacer question

I got the exhaust spacer kit and my bolts are nothing but rust. They are completely rusted away. But that's besides the point. Can you have the exhaust spacers welded in at a exhaust shop? Would that work?

It (spacer) would need to be made of like material before you can weld it to stock exhaust.

Unless of course you mean, something else.

Buy new bolts maybe, dealer probably charges 15 each or something ridiculous.

Cut the others off and use what came with the kit. It's a simple install. (to answer your question, welding will work too).

Cut em off. I broke off both bolts on my 2013, in 2013. With like 6k on it. Heat and bare metal are a perfect combination for corrosion.

I wish more people would just go to an exhaust shop instead of even bothering with spacers. Explain what you need and anyone worth anything will know what to do. My guy had never touched a jeep before and built me a whole system from the CAT's back. Clearance for days.

spray some pb blaster a few times the day before you try to remove... if that doesn't work use a torch and heat them up - worked for me...

Heat them up really good with some MAP gad (yellow can) and then spray some Pb Blaster on them. It may catch fire, but just blow on it, it'll go out. Then more Pb Blaster. Do this a few times, then soak them real good for a few hours. The heat will suck the Pb Blaster into the threads and will help quite a bit.

I've since bought an after market shaft and would love to take mine off, but I'm not sure it's worth the hassle.
