Default exhaust/intake upgrade recomendation???

Hi all, I would like to have a little more of a throaty sound from my 07' X, and dual tip exhaust. I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good muffler system for this, and an intake upgrade if it's neccesary. Also, where do I have these things installed? I think some places will only install OEM so they don't want to be responsible for voiding warranties.

Are those electronic power chips and programmers pretty cool?

btw - I don't do much off-roading if any

i have a Banks intake, Jet module (stage2), Gibson dual exit exhaust. made a significant difference in acceleration and sound. Actually I just got the exhaust yesterday and will install tonight or tomorrow. However the intake and ECU mod are installed a were very easy to do.

I have the MBRP off road catback and it sounds real nice! Hope to add an AEM Brute force intake soon. The MBRP relocates the muffler and evap but it is easy to do. The bitch is getting the stock off!

MBRP cat back system all the way! I absolutely love mine. I can't say much for intakes, I had a true flow xdi and didnt have a great experience with it so i took it off and havent put another back on, i've heard good reviews on the newest banks intake system so that might be worth checking out.

From what I recall reading here, the intake is good for increased throttle response, if nothing else. It greatly increases your chances of hydrolocking your engine. Since you don't off-road, that won't be a problem.
