The shop I went to didn't completely slide them down to the spring perch because the springs were in the way. They didn't remove the springs. Now I have what I call a half a$$ job. Guess they will still serve the purpose, but I wonder if my joints were thought of in the process?!

I took mine to the company mechanic that I work for and mig welded them. We just jacked the front wheels off the ground, The gussets went right on and just make contact with the spring base, no big deal. He welded about and inch at a time and we used wet rags to cool. Everything went well.
