Default EVO 44 mag felt seal

My felt seal has pretty much dissolved and spewed out the axle tube. It would seem that only a matter of time before this happens, it would appear that grease + water+ grime would not allow this to have a long shelf life. This happen to anyone else?

Yep both of mine did the same thing. I just scraped the rest of the residue out when I put my new shafts in. bad design, not sure why they thought it would hold up. The two rubber orings seem to last, but the felt was just a bad idea.

Just curious if EVO has any plans to change this?
