when I went to do mine, I found one of the hose spouts had already been knocked/cracked off but just never saw it. Never threw any code and must have been broken for atleast a few days...

Kilby relocation on mine. No codes, no drilling, about 45 minutes and done! The only modification I made was to protect one of the hoses from a sharp corner. Well worth the purchase!

I relocated mine also. Just seemed to make sense to move it if it's going to get hit and get in the way. Like others said, now I can do a muffler also. I used the Woods kit and it worked like a charm.

I relocated it, as mentioned earlier that if you are going big I can see just skidding it, but since I'm not going over 3.5 I wanted it out of the way so I don't have to worry about it at all. I got the woods kit and haven't had a single problem in over 10,000 miles.

I'm still under warranty so I went with the Poison Spyder skid plate. Much easier.

That probably depends on the dealer and if the problem can be traced back to the relocation. Mine is relocated and my dealer here doesn't care. Others are more picky.

I did a Benchmark and discovered an unintended benefit of skid over relocation: peripheral skid plate protection for the rear drive shaft.
