yep exhaust is alreay realocated in the middle which is sitting very close to evap thats another reason i need to do it asap and relocate it

again, no issues whatsoever.

no warning lights, no faults, no computer error codes, no snags, no breaks. simple, clean, easy, effective & cheap. my kind of mod.

I did have an intermittant error i thought was associated, but that turned out to be a gas cap that wasnt venting properly, they swapped the dumb thing and no more errors, it had nothing to do with the relocation at all.

I installed the Benchmark and it has been great. Really easy install, and a beefy skid plate that protects the evap from just about everything.

if you have a warranty protect it if you don,t then use woods.

i went with rock hard and thought i got a tank body delivered to my house AWSOME get it at .Northridge4x4.com i am not sure but it may be free shipping was for me!

ho yeah and install i did with wife in car ready to get food, took 5 min and gives you a great sence of safety

I just got the river raiders one ... needs a lift for it they said (as I have one)

But you also have a place to put air tank in the skid as well

I agree completely. RELOCATE it! In my opinion a skid only adds weight to an already heavy vehicle and it hangs down even lower than it did before.

i on going argument. What about us super lazy people. Plus i planon on board air and like the idea of the river raider. thats pretty sweet. But even with that skid your still kinda relocating it and putting an air tank in its place. hmmmm

Obviously I'm in the "skid" camp. It's highly effective, easy to install, doesn't risk warranty issues or check engine lights. Relocating is way more involved and some of the kits require cutting, drilling into the tub and more permanent mods. A skid is a simple 10 minute bolt-on installation.

Odds are, if you catch your skid on an obstacle, you'll catch your rear axle, so relocating doesn't necessarily solve that issue. The skid plate also provides some additional protection for the rear driveshaft.
