But if you have to burn $100 bucks then you should go with the relocation kit.

12<100 I'm in. All you did was get hoses and relocate it to wherever you thought was safe?

Thats pretty much it. One other thing I did was I put the canister with the bracket up in the spot it's in and marked the bracket. Then I cut off the bracket so it did not stick out so much. The just re drill some holes and mount it were you want it. Good luck.

Oh I also grabbed a pair of pliers and bent the E-Brake line holder so that it doesn't rub on the canister. That way it would rub a hole in the canister. Easy stuff man.

I put a skid on mine to save the space above my rear axle for my air tank.

Uh, no. Muffler relocation is not required. It goes over the rear axle. Factory warranty is not affected according to my local dealer.

Heard about the possibility of codes too with the relocate so Poison Spyder it is. Came in today. And 2 stickers too. Order it and a $12 t-shirt (to get over $100 order) from Northridge4x4 and they'll even cover the shipping.

Same here, I decided to go with the skid. My poison spyder is on it's way to me now.

Man, I am glad that I saw this thread! After I determine what exactly is going on with my evap emission system (please let it not be a hole in the canister) and get it fixed, I am definitely going with the skid plate! The little off-roading area near my house has some pretty hardcore washboard action. This forum rocks!

I relocated. Next I am relocating the muffler where the canister was, then I will enlarge the storage tub. All jeepswag.com products--great stuff!

BTW: Evaporative canister is about $80, not "a grand".
