EPi 9.0 Help
Well, I was trying to mount my EPi 9.0 this morning. But I can't seem to get the supplied bolts into the base of the winch. Is there something I'm not understanding? Should I try reaming the paint out from the base? Any help would be appreciated.

On mine i placed the nuts into the holes in the bottom of the winch. I placed the winch in my bumper and then installed the bolts from below.
Hope that helps

That is the way I'm trying to install. But there seems to be too much paint on the winch. I can not get the bolts or the nuts in the holes. I tried a mallet with the nuts, but that did not work.
Thanks.

I had one nut that I could not install in the winch. Finally had to take a hammer and a punch to get it to line up. Two were really loose and had a hard time keeping them put. One was just snug and the other would not go.....who knows. I did open up the hole on the winch a little to line up with the nut.
