Get the mopar freedom top bag. They fit in there nicely and you store it in the back standing up attached to the seats. I have an unlimited and it works great. I don't know how it would work in the 2dr but I am sure that it would would out great. There is a Jeep dealer in NC that sells them on ebay for a pretty good price, thats where I got mine. If you are interested PM me and I can get you their info.

I agree to taking out the back seats. I lay them upright against the front seats and secure with a ratchet strap

You make me feel lazy, I just wrap them with a large towel or blanket

Then again I only do that when I'm driving in town and decide to take them off for a ride home from the store, etc.

Maybe invest in a biniki top? Only about $60 and quick to install. Not sure how the clearance is where the hard top and center of the roll bar meet. If it's something you're interested in, I have a bikini top at home with my hard top on my JK. I could try putting it on tonight with the front top panels off and see if it works.

I have the Mopar bag. But I dont want them in my Jeep at all. They take up very limited space. Like last night I had to pick my gf up from the airport and it was a pain getting her suitcases in and moving the tops around. I really just want to leave them at my house.

A bikini top would be perfect if it fit with the hardtop on. Please let me know if it works.

I looked into the mopar on, but you have to take the hardtop off to put it on. So it really wouldnt be very good for emergencies. I really am not sure if the Bestop will work or not sice it has to go around the sound bar.

I look forward to your experiment.

Sure thing! Mine is the Safari Bikini top, but should be able to give me a go or no go on the fit. I should even be able to get the whole thing on since I believe there will be enough clearance.
