.
Any fan capable of pushing more CFM ,than would flow naturaly aspirated, is going to boost the pressure. Instead of using anemometer to measure the wind speed he should have run it to the car and put a turbo boost sensor in to show the air pressure increase.

Agreed. Not a conclusive test. I just wonder if this would give you that extra boost when you need it once in a while - clearly not the solution if want more power all the time.

It would be nice to find someone that has first hand experience with such a thing.

He should have used pitot tubes to get fpm then convert it over to cfm.I could see a possible problem if the pressure in the cylinders were to get to high. Normal supercharged engines run a low compression ratio to keep the pressure down and not to mention better head gaskets..Bottom line I personally would not use it with out better equipment. MY

Agreed, be nice on a riding lawnmower . For the application he was using it for on a dyno would be the only real proof.

it won't work. Superchargers are a complete system. RIPP will tell you. Do you think they just slap um on and go? All you will be doing is blowing more air into the engine. If anything, you only lean it out enough to throw the check engine light. It's your Jeep and if you wanna do stupid stuff to it, knock yourself out.
