Both my friend and I have the ebay snorkles. He had no problems with the cutting or the install. I have the AEV hood so mine was a breeze. Shortly after this pic we both were splashing around in the ocean with our Jeeps and there was'nt any wettness in the breather box or the filter. I have some pics of my Jeep totally engulfed in a wave of water.

I got mine just over a year agin and it's strong and went in nice and easy, I just used an angle grinder to cut the hood, sealed all the air box and turn the top of the snorkel to face the back so it doesn't get coughs by all the branches here, bashed it off trees and stuff and it's still like new, I would buy it again in a heart beat
