I have a 4 door.
Muffler is under the rear driver side seat, and I highly doubt that you can feel any heat at all from the muffler inside of the Jeep.
I'm pretty sure the actual exhaust pipe that runs through there is much hotter than the muffler itself.

I was wondering. The stock one has a heat shield above it. Not so much when you relocate it. And I drive a 2 door. So it really will be right under me.

Well I got mine in, on start up and idle... sounds great! Could turn it on and off all day.

While driving, holy crap its a lot louder then stock. It also didn't quite line up as easy as I thought it would and I can feel it rumbling and the vibrations when I'm on the highway. Checked the muffler but don't see it making contact to the body any where

Yes and no. The vibration seems to have towned down or at least it is not as apparent. I think it is mostly just due to the noise and the floor board being such close proximity to the muffler.

Otherwise, not sure on the sound still, love the start up and the crackling sound it makes. But otherwise it feels like it might be too loud and sound like a rice rocket . Not sure on it quite yet.

Unhappy

What year JK? 3.8 sounds "higher" than the 3.6. It takes a bit to get the sound that will be around for the long haul.
Don't forget our 90 Guarantee too.

Mines a 3.6L - 2012. I like the tone, just want to tone down the cruising tone a bit. Ideally keep that poping crackling sound lol.

Sorry just seeing this.
We don't sell direct so all the deals will be through various on-line vendors or local shops.
Any time you see a 20% off, that's a good deal.
