Okay, Dynomax. I'm about sold on one of these setups. And installing on my 14 jk.2 dr. If I cut my exhaust short after the rear axle, am I going to be slowly poisoning my son who rides in the back daily?

Do you idle for long periods of time? Like are you stuck in horrendous stop (not stop and go) traffic? That is where I would be concerned. I have seen many 2 doors run a similar set up. On a 2 door it maybe loud, just an FYI. I have 4 door, 2 young kids and they don't complain. Now the wife does on occasion, and my younger brother does... but he drives a Grand Cherokee.

I don't do much traffic. And something is usually open on my rig. When you say loud do you mean droning, or just louder then a 4 dr?

My wife thinks it's too loud, my brother notices a "drone zone" for me that is about 67-70 but I am usually above or below that.
I am a 2013 JKU on 38's and 5.38's. No matter what I am loud. But I have driven 16+ hours and really didn't complain much.

Finished install just in time for the jeep jamboree in uwharrie. I decided to use a turn down after the axle to prevent any exhaust coming into the cab. Any chance the exhaust heat could cause damage to the tire. It's not facing it directly but it's close. ??

Just in case.

Put mine on this past weekend. Sounds a bit louder and deeper.
Not obnoxious.... just enough. Even my girlfriend said it sounds good!

Anybody notice an increase in heat with the muffler under your seat now?
