Thanks for the info. And please correct if I am wrong. Also some great JK pics on your FB page.
That's exactly what I've got. I'm going to do it as soon as it gets in hopefully Sat or Mon.

I'll post up a write up with pics when i do.

I installed my Dynomax 17263 Ultraflow SS muffler this weekend in my 2 door. I really like the sound, and i do find that it helped the drivability a little bit. I cut off the stock exhaust near the evap canister. Then i welded on this muffler with a turndown pipe i salvaged from the stock exhaust. Nothing was really challenging about this mod. Very cheap and cool! Here are two pics of my setup. Thanks Dynomax for answering all my questions!

Very nice!
Like how you got it tucked up there.

I hate my work schedule... I got the muffler in, but haven't been able to put it up under the Jeep yet.

You should really like it. Are you changing anything about the install compared to how i did it? Feel free to ask me any questions

Got it installed!

Coworker and I headed out to the barn after we got off work.

1) undo the exhaust from the clamp after the cats.

2) undo the clamp before the muffler after the axle

3) cut the hangers for the muffler.

4) kick the muffler off the the pipe behind the axle

5) slip the rubber hangers off. With some penetrating oil they can slip off easily.

6) i marked the straight part of the pipe where i wanted the muffler to sit.

7) cut a section of the tailpipe where i wanted the muffler to sit

8) we shoved the old pipe into the muffler in the front.

9) grabbed the new Mig Welder an welded on the muffler

10) flipped over the muffler, shoved in the tailpipe, welded it up good.

11) install the exhaust back up in there.

Put the front in, clamp it down good.

Put the rubber spacers back on

Start up the Jeep.

I really like the sound. Also seems to give it a bit of performance boost as well. Can't wait to get a snorkel as a CAI though and a chip for it, then I'l really feel the difference.

I mainly like the sound right now. Outside doesn't sound too bad either. No drone at my cruising speeds.
