I did a search and found a few posts on this, but...

Looking to get a rear bumper/tire carrier. I've narrowed it down to the DV8 RS-2 or the Tuff Stuff single action. So here's my question. They look identical? Except for the $300 price difference. The Tuff Stuff is $599 and the DV8 is $899. Anyone have any input? I'm going with the DV8 LFS-8 front, so I thought it would be nice to have the same brand rear, but if they are the same, $300 is a huge difference.

 

Don't have either, I'm running similar price BesTop bumper with carrier. Looks like the pivot is a simple pin/ knuckle and no bearings, probably held together with a thinnish bolt. See if there's a zirk to add grease. I would also look underneath to see how the receiver is welded/ attached to the bumper.

 

Both look identical to my smittybilt xrc rear. Id go with the cheaper of the 2.

 

These venders all source from the same factory .. Prob in China.

For example. These are Barricade metal fenders. DV8 And E-auto Grilles fenders all look the same.
