Duratracs in Florida?
I know not another Duratrac question, but I have searched and searched, every review has great things to say about the Duratracs mention snow and ice. I'm in Florida, only sand and mud, Vehicle is a 2013 JKUR trail ride 6 to 10 per year, sand and mud, Nothing extreme it is My Main vehicle so drive to work every day, Have stock Rubicon tires now serve me fine, Adding a 2.5 coil lift and keeping stock rubicon wheels, Will Duratrac fit my needs, Was looking at Km2 but a deal just came up locally for duratracs, What do you think?

I run Duratracs in TN and Western NC. My JKR was my primary ride when I bought them. That was a huge factor in my decision to go with that type of tire. Realistically, I needed something that had really good road performance and would serve me well on the trail when I actually do take it out. Going from stock Rubicon wheels/tires to 35" Duratracs with 16" wheels, my MPGs actually improved. However, I did get a small downed tree wedged into my sidewall as the wheel was turning. It punctured through pretty bad. The sidewalls aren't as thick as some other trail tires, but that's the trade-off for highway performance.
In my opinion, the Duratracs are good for MPGs and highway driving but will do very well on the trail as well. I'm glad I got them.
