Running the 275/65R18s on stock rims with no spacers. Slight rub on swaybar at full lock. Diameter just slightly bigger than stock. Love them!

I'm going to add a 3.5" lift to my jeep and I'm wanting to go up to a 34-35in tire

You got stock "Gladiators" as 18" rims, the 17" are Moabs , you should be able to run 285s max without rubbing on the stock rims, with no spacers

I am running the Duratracs. You will rub with the 285's. I rub with 275s but only at full lock.

You won't need a 3.5 lift. 2.5" lift will let you run 35s with less problems.

Also I hope you mean 1.5" spacers, not backspacing.

Be aware that lifting does not necessarily solve rubbing issues. Swaybar link geometry on a lifted rig will cause the rears to rub on stock rims without spacers, while you might get away with running the same rims and tires unlifted with less problems.
