ID:	432746So I spent weeks while my jeep was being built researching tires. I decided to go with the 285/70/17's with blackrock vipers. Boy can I say they do not disappoint.

They are extremely smooth, there is no feeling the knobs hitting the road
They are quieter than the duelers That I used to have on my 2011.
They have little roll resistance. I can coast for a long time while shifting it in neutral heading to the red lights
At 45 mph I can hear a slight humm starting but its not annoying at all
Braking is great, I don't feel like a freight train coming to a stop

I'm getting 17-18 mph but the engine isn't broken in yet hopefully it will stay or go up a bit

The dealer had the psi at 39 when I drove off and it drove like crap. Took it down to 33 and its perfect.

Anyone wanting an aggressive looking tire with great street manners you have to go with these tires

I did some serious snow wheeling in the Blue Ridge Mountains last weekend - over 12" of snow in some spots and we blazed the trail new in spots. I was about the only Jeep that had little to no significant problems. Now, I had to make 3 passes at one hairpin turn to get enough speed to get around and start up a long incline, but others got stuck.

The Duratracs are great tires. I can't see running anything else at this point.

I wouldnt get them, my bro had them and rotated them every 3-4K and after about 16k they where so gosh darn loud. It sounded like a huey helicopter coming down the road and if you where riding in it talk about a massive headache. They were lasting great and had great traction though. Looks like they would last about 60K+
