Default DuraTrac Tires...Spacers?

I am looking at getting the 275/65/R18 DuraTracs for my Sahara. I've been seeing that I am going to need spacers so there is no rub. All I can find is people just saying that spacers are needed. Does anyone know if these are lift spacers or wheel spacers? Thanks for the help!

You don't really "need" wheel spacers. I run the same tires and have not had a problem wheeling or street, even disconnected. Very slight rub at full lock, but no big deal. Spacers will give a nicer stance, but are not necessary.

I love the Duratracs, but if I were to do it again, I would go straight to an aftermarket 16 or 17 inch rim with the correct backspacing, and go to a 33" tire. Probably the same price as buying 5 18's.

That all depends on what kind of wheels you're looking for, I wanted some American Racing Cannons in Black w/ Machined face, would have cost me another $1000 at least for 5 of them plus 285/70/17 Duratracs were pretty much the same price as the 275/70/18's I got. I got my Duratracs for about $1350 CDN out the door.

Default anyone running 305/70/16?

Godyear shows LT305/70R16 as an available size 33x12.5, but I can't find them anywhere.

I run 295/65/18 DuraTracs and there was slight rubbing on the swaybar and frame at full lock. There was no rubbing at all with wheel spacers, like someone else said I like the stance better too. I don't care what anyone says your not going to get 5 rims and five tires (16" or 17") for less or the same price as 5 18" tires. If you are going to change rim size now is a good time, but the cost difference between 17" and 18" 35s tires is about $50

I just got the 295/65/18 Duratracs too! I also have rubbing near full lock. Spacers are on order right now...can't wait!
