Default Dumb question?!

I know ESP/lift thread has been around, my question is this. If the lift is affecting the ESP (traction control) system, there is an ESP button on the center console to turn off..... can't it just be turned off and there is no deailing with it engaging in turns/on-off ramps?!

If it is really that dumb of a question you can say so! lol

You can not totally turn the ESP off in 2wd, even with the little light on the ESP is on to some degree.

The only way to turn the ESP all the way off is in 4HI or 4low, hold the ESP button down for five seconds. A chime will sound and where you millage is it will flash that ESP is off. The ESP will come back on if your speed exceeds 35mph in 4high. In 4low ESP is turned off automatic.

i've only had my ESP activate a few times (on the same curves) when I'm going to fast. its probably good that its activating because i've taken the same curves at a slower speed and it doesn't come on. so it seems to be working as intended.

some people have had alot of trouble after lifting but i think the key is a good alignment.
