Yes I knew I had a RC lift....that was my mistake on the typo. Anyway, the private seller I bought it from bought it from another gentleman a couple years ago and the original owner is the one who put the lift on. The story I got was that the original owner had a dealership install the lift. Regardless, I love the Jeep I just wish whoever had put the lift on would have finished the job....more to a lift than some taller springs and big tires.....this is my first lifted vehicle so I’m learning a lot.....and the hard way ha ha!

You don't need front control arm drop brackets. You'll end up destroying the drop brackets anyway if you hit a good trail.

what makes you think this? And it won’t be a trail rig for a few more years.

I disagree. Control arm brackets are a great solution for many people who aren't doing hardcore wheelin'. They are monumentally better than cam bolts and also position the arms at a better angle for pavement purposes than mid/short adjustable arms do. Can't say I've ever seen CA brackets "destroyed". Scraped up over the rocks, sure.

Yeah, talk about an 'incomplete lift'. Even with RC's dirt cheap prices, they couldn't spring for a whole lift. Sounds like they just slapped on some left-over parts they had laying around - or more likely - they were trying to pull a fast one by using coils/shocks and dual stabilizer just to make it look tough, and then telling the owner "that's just how lifted jeeps drive, you'll get used to it...".

In addition to the raised rear trackbar bracket, with 4" coils be sure to check the brakelines so they don't rip off when the suspension is drooped. Not a bad idea to look into unhooking and/or extension brackets, or even new lines. Bumpstops should be integrated into those shocks, so not a must-have, but not a bad idea to think about adding some. And as part of regular maintenance, be sure to crawl underneath and check that front driveshaft at the tcase. When the joint starts spitting grease, you'll have a little time to decide which way to go with it.

And yeah, for a daily driver, Control Arm brackets will be just fine. At some point in the future if you start spending a bunch of time in the rocks, you can always swap them for a set of arms.
