The dealer is wrong. The stabilizer shouldn't be used to correct steering issues, it's there to buffer (smooth?) the feel of the steering. Really, if you run a stabilizer, the OEM hydraulic ones are the best. The gas charged ones will, in a single configuration, cause your jeep to pull (really being pushed) to one side.

What everyone said is true. factory stabilizers do the job.

Invest in a relocation kit to get the factory SS up out of the way.

Inexpensive kits are available and will save you some damage/money down the road..
