Default Is a drop pitman needed with a Currie Currectlync Steering?

So, I have a 2007 JKU with spec's below. This weekend I was under the rig doing some maintenance when I noticed grease at all of my joints to the tie rod and drag link. Upon further inspection I noticed that the boots had ripped. I sent Currie a pretty aggressive email immediately as I've had nothing but problems with their setup since the day it went on. The large nuts () on the tie rod constantly wiggle loose, even with loctite, and have screwed up my tires, the boots have torn multiple times and I get this clunk
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eXLdT6f0VzE from my tie rod. All in all, not happy here.

So they sent me an email asking about my setup and said that they felt it was my lift and the fact that I didn't' have a drop pitman arm. Is this accurate? A lot of what I've researched has said this is not needed. Anyone have any thoughts on this? They are saying also, that with my caster I may be pinching the boot.. once again, seems like a load of crap. In their defense though, the drag link sure does lean forward quite a bit.. thoughts anyone?? I'm really getting sick of not getting this dialed in.

Ask them how a drop pitman arm will fix your problems with the tie rod. I don't see how. It may fix the draglink end but will put a lot of stress on the selector shaft and gearbox. I would recommend a drag link flip kit over a drop pitman arm.

I had the same issues with mine. I finally got tired of them and replaced with the ruff stuff tie rod and synergy drag link. No more floppy gooey mess. And no, you do not need a drop pitman arm and it will do the same thing when the drag link is flipped.

You have the old style boots, they have an update that is a kinda machined washer with a piece of foam stuck to it to hold in the grease. It lasted about 8 days before it was toast.

A DPA will not fix your tie rod. The tie rod is what is banging around. The DPA might fix your drag link. I would suggest a drag link flip kit to move the link up. Either way your going to need to Drop the pitman arm or flip the drag link to get that steering back to factory spec.

Here are the pics of my DPA and Drag link setup. I'm eventually going to a flip kit but this is working for me I'm going to run it until something breaks or I get the kit

I'd go with the drag flip over a drop pit arm.You really want to stay away from a drop pit arm only will cause more problems

If iflip my drag link then it will be out of alignment with my track bar....?

Also looking at your images, my draglink and TR sure do appear to be tilted forward more. Do you have a picture of your DL and track bar alignment?

You have to raise the axle side mount with a higher bracket and will likely need some extended bump stops as well.

I currently have bumpstops from my 2.5" lift. Do I need more? What bracket are you running?
