driveshafts or regear? hmm

considering you dont do a lot of wheeling, i say do gears. Yes they are more expensive, but you benefit more from gears at this time. It will have a major improvement in your day to day driveability.

x10. Do the gears, unless the driveshafts are toast. My front ds boot was toast quickly and I ran it for a year that way, but keep an eye on them for sure. Don't fear the gear, my best upgrade for sure.

Gears, as others have stated should be your choice.

I have a 4" lift on my JKU for about 4 months now and my front driveshaft boot had already split when i replaced it with my new front DS... Your rear shaft will be fine specially on a JKU... Like what has been said, gears will help your day to day driving ability and find your lost power. If you do the gears and hold off on the shafts and the front goes you can always pull it and go without till you can save up the $450-$550 for a new one and still be happy with the $ that the gear swap is saving you over time in fuel... Its pros and cons to either, its all about what will suit you best.

One of the reasons I was pushing for a regear first rather than ds is I dont no how much xtra wear an tear I'm putting on auto from trans always searching for the rite gear an not finding it so I think the regear is my way to go for less stress on other parts of jp
