Default drive shafts oem flanges or cv ?

i was wondering which would be a better drive shaft for a 5.5 lift with 37's the the one that uses the oem flanges or C.V. style ? thanks alote...

I think it would be better to have a reg u-joint flange on there. I have an oem stlye, and I think it puts the CV assembly too far out and makes it hard to keep vibes out. A couple guys on here have had their t-cases blow to bits because of driveline vibes.

agreed, i would go with the u-joint style shaft that uses yokes at the output shaft and pinion.

oh ok thanks.. is that the standard one the northridge sells ? should i replace the front and back at the same time... or could i get by with just replacing the front one ?

that is a lot of lift. If you have an auto I would def do the front. If you have an unlimited you can prolly get away with the stock for a while... but that is pretty tall to go without the rear either.
