Default Draglink removal-Need help

Anyone have any suggestions on removing the pitman arm side of a draglink? Been banging on mine and it wont come out.

A ball joint separator should do the trick.

I don't have one. I guess if all else fails I can go get one. Thanks.

Local auto store can usually rent / loan one to you.

Do you need to salvage the TRE? A pickle fork will get it apart but the rod end will be shot. Usually hitting the pitman arm with a BFH will compress the taper and the joint will pop out. If that fails, I recommend trying to get a pitman arm puller positioned with a series of socket extensions running through the engine compartment to the puller. It should pop right out
