evo has a drag link flip made for the pr44's larger tube diameter...that is the one u want. they do these swaps more than anyone and have custom made it for this swap. no need to change the tie rod. they will all bend when u smack it. that is why dynatrac is telling u to save youtr money and that is why im telling you to save your money. u reuse the stock ends unless u spend another $100 for their new ones. unnecessary. by the pr44 draglink kit from evo and call it a day.

I went with Reid knuckles, Synergy Drag link flip, Synergy tie rod. All heavy duty and bolt on, no drilling out the knuckle drag link end. No more bent drag link when playing in the rocks Tie rod is fully adjustable for toe in and now a bit further up and out of the way. I also went with JKS sector shaft brace & Track bar. Steering has a better feel now

I can say from experience that the RK is near bomb proof, I just upgraded to the pro aluminum after the old steel one bent from excessive abuse and RK gave world class service. I have used my steel unit to slide over rocks with 37's and a PR44 on my JKU and watched a buddy with 35's on a 2dr bend the synergy following me. But just my 2 cents.

Thanks for your comments Guys. Talked to EVO this morning their Drag Link won't work with a 2" lift. They also recommend sticking with the stock units. My stock units are bent and I am weary of replacing with OEM. There is another thread about Rock Krawler Drag Link/Tie Rod End Failure. It has happened to more than one member and apparently it happens often. Allot of members swear by them and attribute the failures to poor owner user maintenance but it could also be a quality control issue. Without a proper thread pitch and depth micrometer measurement we are just guessing. Is anyone running the Synergy drag link and tie rod units without wheel adapters on stock Rubicon Moab wheels? Synergy says they require a 4 3/4" backspace and won't work with stock wheels without wheel adapters. Thanks again for your comments.

I checked this a little today. I don't run the stock wheels anymore, and I have 16" wheels with 4.5" backspacing. At full turn there is about 1/4" clearance between the wheel and the Synergy tie rod. I assume you're going to hit the tie rod before the full turn with stock wheels and no spacers. I don't know what the clearance is with a stock tie rod, but Synergy is of the exact same outer diameter as the stock tie rod. Perhaps, the bend at the ends is different - I don't have the stock one anymore to compare.

I have the Synergy tie rod and trying to run without the spacers and the chewed the rim on the edge when making full turn on my moab wheels, put spacers on and all is fine.. Tie rod has 1 ton tie rods and are way larger than factory. The synergy tie rod is a beast.. love it.... Drag link is next...
