Default drag link flip kit question.

Does anyone run a EVO drag link flip kit with a Rock Krawler 3.5 x factor mid arm? If so, what you thing about this setup, any clearance issues?
Thank you guys.

Honestly, the EVO and AEV is overpriced considering they are just using an OEM right side drive drag link for the flip over the knuckle. Your best bet is to get a poly performance with their adjustable draglink that has longer lasting greasable ends that will work with the RK suspension. It will work though to answer your question.

Did you ever tried this set up? with the poly performance plus the 3.5" lift, all the steering geometry is corrected? you don't have clearance issues between the track bar bracket and the frame?

It seems a little bit more expensive, considering the kit itself is $325 and they require you to use a reamer, which they sell for $120.

Now I see that there is another option, they also sell an insert for $10 that can be used after the knuckle is drilled out. My mistake.

And you will have clearance issues if you do not have 3" bump stops

I run the Synergy Flipped Drag link with the Artec Truss/raised TB bracket with only 2.5 inch springs and have no issues. You may need adjustable control arms to fix your caster.

Draglink flip kit is not recommened for lifts under 4". Installing on lifts under 4" can induce bump steer.

Not trying to be rude but where did you hear that from? I just never heard of that before.

Not my experience....

Its probably not really all that necessary for lifts under 4", but it doesn't hurt anything.

Think of it like this... If you are lifting your Jeep approximately 3 inches, the angle of your drag link and track bar are steeper than stock. If you flip your drag link to the top of the knuckle and raise the trackbar mount 3", you will reduce the angle of the track bar and drag link and are pretty much returning the steering geometry to stock.
