Buy 5 - 15x8 Cragar V-5 steel wheels with 3.75" backspacint for around $230 shipped.

Find a used 35x12.50R15 for cheap on craigslist to have for a spare.

The net cost for the upgrade wouldn't be too much.

The next purchase would be $309 for a Superchips Flashpaq.

37s really need a re-gear, axle sleeves & gussets, & a HD rear tire carrier. Plus, you'd want axle shafts.

35s can be run on stock gears for a while with a Superchips tune. It isn't ideal, but not the end of the world.

With 35s on your 3", you will be able to do almost any trail you'd likely try on 37s.

You can skip the axle sleeves & chromoly axle shafts with 35s. You can wait on the tire carrier.

You'd want the C gussets at some point, but could wait until you regear.

Your 3" kit is worth less than 50% of new. You can probably get 80% of new for the BB. Your stock Rubi wheels & tires could be sold to an X owner for $300-$600 depending on the condition.
i would keep the 3 in without any doubt!! planman is on point with his plan... man. haha

So, I'm sure there is good wheeling there.
The rocks are brutal on tires there, IMO. If you wheel there, you will be getting new tires sooner than you think.
I've seen motorcycle guys wear out their tires in four days of riding through that desert. Oh, and get the tire insurance for sure.
