OK, I have found the "Die-Tech Off-road mirror brackets" on their website (Thanks)
Kind of look funny to me...

Mirror bracket solutions are necessary for Jeep Wrangler owners who want to operate their vehicles with no doors and remain legal. Our solution goes beyond this requirement and solves problems those typical solutions have, including:

* Poor visibility
* Inefficient mirrors
* Vibration

Our mirror brackets use the stock mirrors in their original location. The use of the stock mirrors give the Jeep Wrangler owner the same quality of vision, efficiency, and function that they are accustomed. Additionally, the Jeep Wrangler owners benefit from the safety research that Chrysler LLC has done for the mirrors in their Jeep Wrangler application.

Does anyone have a pic of this setup?

I still believe you can't beat the Harley mirrors for the price and convenience.

I have the Die-Tech brackets and would strongly recommend them ... Have worked great for me!

A second set of factory mirrors came with my half doors I bought off of someone, so I leave this additional set on the brackets permanently.

I have the dietech brackets also and they are awesome!!! By far nothing out there comes even close to there quality and the visibility that they provide. I had tried all of the chessy solutions on this board for mirrors and in the end these were the winners.

I understand your concern with the looks of the Die Tech brackets, I can tell you I've received several compliments reguarding them when on the road, people curious what brand they are. They are seemless in appearance, almost blending into the side of the dash . The visibility is that with the doors on, and I haven't had any rust while running them doorless in Hawaii (rust heaven) for a year. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the interior of the jeep.
