i have the stainless ones and they are certainly more for a looks purpose, not to guard from scuffing. the rest of the inside of my door is definitely scuffed up already.

They look good and do the job. I wanted something different then the mopar ones I always see.

The guards are worth it very much, they prevent scratching over time and also prevent rust.
My dad own's the Chrome guards and they look very stylish

so cheap the wife couldn't complain and the kids beat em up, they still look great and hold well. they are just taped on so removal is easy.

Black plastic mopar - had the dealer throw them in. Holding up well with me & the kids. No issues with closing the doors. I've also seen a couple of the threads about spray on bed-liner. Door sills is one of the places on my list, when I take the plunge.

Have the black plastic mopar here as well. My first "mod". They are holding up great. I had to get something because the kids are always climbing in and out.
