Does re calibrating change the tac as well as the odometer ?

Default Does re calibrating change the tac as well as the odometer ?
I went from 32" to 33" and I know it affected the odometer but not sure if it changes the tac.
I am changing gears and will re calibrate it once the gears are in.

no you need a programmer when you change the gears and tires to recalibrate the speedo but it does not affect the tach as that's just engine speed

If you have a manual transmission I really wouldn't bother recalibrating for 32 to 33's. Heck I didn't for 32 to 35's

To simply answer your question - Yes, it does affect both, odometer and tachymeter.

Nope. Tach is the engine rpms, speedo is speed, and odometer is total mileage

Foreign languages can be tricky. In german the speedo is called "tacho".
