Was looking into maybe getting some extra lights on the wind shield or maybe across the hood. Do brands make that much of difference since some of the prices range a lot.

The mopar and smittybilt brackets place the lights down and away from the windshield and I think most of the others do not. I went with the smittybilt, as I like that look best, don't obstruct my view, and they are only like $25.

If you get the smitty's go over them with a coat of rustoleum before mounting. Mine rusted at the welds and stained my paint.

also some work with hood mounted snorkels (AEV) that mount next to the windshield and some don't.

from what I remember the KC and Rugged Ridge do (without modification).

not sure what else does/doesn't but the search button is there for that.
