Dodge Ram 1500 diff/tubes/axle swap?
Preface: This question is 100% fishing expedition as I've done no actual research into the matter.
I have a '99 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 that I feel is near the end of her life. She has almost 200k miles on the 360 and she's tired. Rather than just send her to a scrapper, I was thinking I could pull some parts and toss them in some other vehicles. How feasible would it be to take the diffs/axle tubes/axles from the Ram and put them in the (2009) JK?
As the proud owner of an el-cheapo X model, I could really use something better in the front and, if I'm going to do it anyway, I might as well swap the rear. Would it be worth it to swap the D60/D44 setup in place of the D44/D30? How much of a pain in the ass would it be?

Regarding the perches, I figured I'd have to do that. I may have to shorten the axle tubes as well, since I'll want it to be a driver an CA law takes issue with wheels that stick out without being covered.

I'll have to crawl under the rigs and see what the dimensions look like.

It is an electronic thing. The gear looking device is one piece of the puzzle. It's the tone ring that the sensor reads. It's not a gear.
