I have a 2010 4 dr I have a 4 inch lift and 35s. I just put a Plow on and back drag small driveways with it. Only thing is its a 6 spd with 4.88 gears. Is my clutch able to take this? Do I need a tranny cooler or tranny upgrades ?

Transmission coolers are used on automatics. Just driving carefully should be enough with a manual.

The railroad here only uses wranglers to plow.

They get where ever they need, and then some

With most standard plow setups, you have attachement points bolted low to the front of the Jeep frame. Unless you remove the plow attachments from the frame when you want to offroad, you now have an approach angle worse than many cars.

I looked at the snow plow types that connect to a front/rear hitch of the Jeep. Ended up buying a little 30 horse Kubota tractor with a front end loader and rear blade.

I plowed with a 48 Willys when I was a teenager. You can't beat how well they manuever in tight spaces but you will ruin your Jeep. If you plan on ever driving it on the HWY... I wouldn't do it. JKs already have multiple issues driving on the HWY, add a tweeked frame will only make it worse.

Default Getting of the topic a bit here

The question I have here is what plows will work best on the JK. I'm not looking to be told to buy a beater truck or a snowblower. I've already considered those options before coming here to ask about plows. I'm not interested in insuring and maintaining another vehicle just to plow a few driveways. I'm not interested in walking behind a snow blower. Due to my recently being disabled to the point I really can't do my own repairs and really shouldn't be wrestling with a a snowblower, a light plow for my JK works for me. I am an experienced plow operator and I know how to operate a plow in such a way to minimize damage to the vehicle. When the operator owns the vehicle, they tend to take better care of it.
I also flat tow my wrangler behind my RV. This creates a unique issue. How do I integrate both devices on my JK. Or is there a brand of plow that would allow me to use the plow mounts to attach my tow bar.
thanks for listening to my rant. Any useful information would be great. T hanks
