In terms of them holding up to abuse, I love mine. I make up for the lack of lift I have by using mine to drop my jeep on every rock I can find. They are rock solid.
Yes they bent. The weight of the jeep hit the outside tube and it bent. Saying they are as thick as the axle tube really doesn't say much since the axle tubes are known to bend also. For maximum strength the frame mounted sliders are the way to go. Personally I like the clearance of no sliders screw the sheet metal.

If I'm not mistaken the enhanced rails are actually the oem rails and AEV welds on the slider for them. Agree they might go better with the rest of your AEV stuff because of that, but then I've never seen the enhanced rails in person. I have Poison Spyder Rocker Knockers with my AEV build and I'm happy because I do rocks and I like the extra protection.

They definitely look like the stock rubi rails with the added tube on the . I didn't know aev did that for them. The added tube just looks kinda small compared to the light bar and rear bumper tubbing on the aev bumpers.

Sounds like people recommend the mopar for my situation. Thanks. Yes if I were crawling all over the place I would get frame mounted sliders and AK the other skid plates needed.

I have the Mopar/AEV ones in Atlanta. I don't know where in the south you are, but if you are ever around, let me know so you can check them out. They've worked great for me. I might actually sell them for reasons unrelated to the rails themselves. I added Poison Spyder uppers and screwed up some nutserts. The only way to hide is with a new setup.

the MOPAR enhanced rails are just tubing welded on the factory slider, if you want something that looks cool and offers protection go with Poison Spyder DIY rails. The Poison Spyder DIY rails weld onto the factory Rubi Rails, the only thing you have to do is find someone that can weld and get them painted what ever color you want. Keep an open mind an check them out, plenty of pics on the thread to give you a good idea of how they look .....
