Do i need a new carrier for dana 30
Erring ready to order my stuff for gear swap. Going with 5.13 and 37. My question is the gear set says for Dana 30 axle but says nothing about needing a new carrier. Here is a link to the gear set. http://m.quadratec.com/products/prod...gid=52463+507X

I was told that if you have the 3.21 gearing in your axles now then yes you will need the carrier. If you have the 3.73 and up you are good to go. Also rubicon or non?
But check out the vendor section as you might find some better deals to include master install kits and carriers if need be.

Go to the Jeep.com link below. You will need to create an account but it should show your options you have on the Jeep with your VIN#. Not sure if there is a different way other than calling the dealership.
