i asked this question sort of not too long ago but between which gears to get -4.88 or 5.13. Most consistent answer i got was to get 5.13 because i was upgrading to 35s later and they work great. you should be able to regain a lot of your lost power and gas mileage on the highway. my advice though is try the lift and tires and see how it does. if you dont like it then go with a hypertech or superchip to maybe help with some of the power or gas mileage. if still not satisfied then go with the expensive gear change, because it aint cheap and you will have helped and just increased performance by already having the chip.

On a serious note drive it first youll see it's NOT horrible and with the new engine it probably won't be as bad. Add a Superchip first that helps but they might not make them yet for the 2012.
But because it's a manual(6 speed you said) 4.88 will be good for you.... 5.13 for auto.
