Do I need to buy Rugged Ridge mesh grille or could i spray paint some mesh from lowes
Just got a red rubicon and for one of my first modifications i wanted to add a black mesh grille but was wondering if i had to get the rugged ridge one or just get some mesh from
Home depot for much cheaper.

Perf metal DIY grille mod:
I bought mine from a local shop that makes it. I ended up having to buy a whole 10' x 4' sheet though but sold the extra to some friends to cover the cost. After I cleaned it up real good to get all the oils off of it, I used self-etching primer and then silver paint over that. It's been over a year now and it's held up good.
