That looks really cool. I have been debating on cutting or buying, seeing this I will cut and add PVC. Awesome job.

Another option like someone else said is to use hose, it's easier to bend but honestly I like my PVC because it's a little more sturdy

I'd skip the heat gun and go straight to a propane torch. I use this technique when installing sprinklers. So instead of having a bunch of 45 degree elbows everywhere, my sprinkler lines have nice soft bends to them. It takes some practice, but it's pretty crafty. I like the idea. I'd steer clear of 1" pvc though and go with 3/4" instead. The 3/4" bends with the torch MUCH easier. Nice solid job bud!!!
